WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Dr. Ned Calonge knows firsthand how hard it is to tell Americans they'd be better off with fewer routine medical tests. A long-time family doctor in Colorado, Calonge presided over the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, an influential government-backed panel of health experts, when it said that most women under 50 could skip their regular mammograms.
